Steady Golf Teachathon for Mental Health 2024
Mental Health is just as important as physical health. It is time to take action in the 2nd Steady Golf Teachathon for Mental Health!
PGA of Canada Instructor Brady Stead will be teaching from dawn to dusk on Saturday, September 21st. 100% of lesson revenue and donations will be given to the Canadian Mental Health Association. Last year, the Teachathon raised $4,650. Let’s smash that goal this year!
So why is Brady (Steady) doing this?
While competing in Europe in 2018 with hopes of reaching the European Tour, Brady’s cousin committed suicide. In support of mental health initiatives during this time, Brady started wearing a green ribbon on his hat to raise awareness of the often invisible disease, mental illness. Since this day, he has also lost friends and colleagues to mental illness.
Now Brady wants to use his platform to make a difference by providing help and hope to those who are struggling with mental illness.
