Celebrating Success: Burnaby Peer Navigator Program’s Recent Milestones

We are thrilled to share some achievements of the Burnaby Peer Navigator Program. Over the past six months our team has reached an impressive milestone of helping 150 community members access services and programs. In our commitment to expanding access, we’ve partnered with the Society to End Homelessness to develop a third drop-in support site, enhancing our outreach and availability to those in need.

We are also celebrating the end of a three-month internship sponsored by TD, which allowed us to build 15 new relationships with community organizations. This partnership not only strengthened our network but also bolstered emergency preparedness projects throughout Burnaby. In particular, our workshops have provided essential support to community organizations, helping them assist individuals with mental health issues who are more vulnerable during heat waves.
